Preferred Square teamed up with Team Everest NGO for an impactful initiative at Captain Chandan Lal Special Middle School in Gurgaon – supported by the All India Confederation of the Blind. The day was all about creating opportunities for students to explore their creativity and sharpen their skills through engaging activities.
Student Creativity and Insight
The day was structured around 2 key activities designed to be inclusive and nurturing:
Clay Modeling: For the younger students (classes 1-5), clay modeling became a medium for expression. The children used their sense of touch to create shapes and objects, ranging from simple forms like circles and stars to more complex figures using molds such as trees, houses, cars, and airplanes.
Logical Thinking Exercises: Older students (classes 6-8) engaged in riddles that tested their problem-solving skills. These riddles, based on everyday themes like cricket and household items, allowed the students to exercise their minds in new ways, showing them—and us—that their intellectual abilities are boundless.
Embracing Adaptability and Diverse Perspectives
The students’ enthusiasm and skills were the highlight of our day! They brought creativity and keen insight to each activity, engaging with great spirit and intelligence. This experience underscored the importance of adaptability and embracing diverse perspectives.
A Continued Commitment to Growth
At Preferred Square, we believe in the power of collective action to make a difference. This day at Captain Chandan Lal Special Middle School reaffirmed our commitment to supporting educational initiatives that empower students to reach their full potential. We look forward to continuing this journey and bring a positive change in the lives of the students.
